| You can also cook the kebabs on top of a grill. A charcoal fire adds extra flavor, but any ordinary grill will serve. |

Marinate the beef cubes in lemon juice. Set them in a glass container, pour the lemon juice over, cover with plastic film, and leave them in the fridge for two hours, preferably overnight. |

Pin meat cubes in four skewers, alternating with pepper, cherry tomatoes, shallots, mushrooms, and bay leaves. |
