Stir-fried Pak Choi with Garlic and Mushrooms

Pak choi originated in Southern China, where it has been in the menu since the fifth century.

  • 2 Tbs nut oil
  • 3/4 cup chopped musrooms
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1 pak choi, whashed and cut into strips
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 1 Tbs oyster sauce
  • 1 Tbs light soy sauce
Methods/steps
  1. Heat the oil in a wok over a high heat. Add mushrooms and crushed garlic. Cook for 1-2 minutes. Stir in the pak choi and cook for a further minute.
  2. Mix together cornstarch, oyster sauce and soy sauce. Add to the wok. Cook until pak choi has wilted and mushrooms are tender.
  3. Serve immediately.
