Cheesy Leek and Ham Bake

Description

Leeks need to be cooked in advance. Trim the lieaves, cut the roots at the bottom, wash, and steam or boil them before getting on with this recipe.

  • 8 slices of ham
  • 8 whole leeks, washed and cooked
  • 1 cup cheese sauce
  • 2 Tbs grated cheddar cheese
  • chopped parsley to garnish
Methods/steps
  1. Preheat oven to 375° F (190° C).
  2. Roll a slice of ham around each leek and place in a shallow oven dish. Pour over the cheese sauce and sprinkle with the grated cheese.
  3. Bake in the center rack for 30 minutes, until the top is brown.
  4. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
