Description

No need to waste food or get bored eating more of the same, prepare a terrine from cooked turkey meat and recycle your leftover turkey.

  • 1 cup cooked turkey meat, finely chopped
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 envelope gelatine
  • 4 Tbs water
  • 5 Tbs light cream
  • 1 Tbs mustard
  • Parsley leaves and cucumber slices to garnish
Methods/steps
  1. Soak the gelatine granules in the water. Mix the chopped turkey meat and the mayonnaise in a bowl.
  2. Heat up the water and gelatine a few seconds in the microwave -about 30 seconds at 650 watts- and stir until the gelatine is dissolved. Add together with the light cream and mustard. Mix thoroughly.
  3. Transfer into a soufflé dish or distribute between 4 ramekins and chill for 2 hours, or until the gelatine is set.
  4. Turn out ont a serving dish and garnish with cucumber slices and parsley leaves. Toasted bread or crackers are a good accompaniment.
