Curried Parcels from Bali

Description

Entice your kid's tastebud with this mild curry flavor. Exotic food often attracts the attention of children and most of them like pineapple.

  • 4 pork chops, 1/3-inch thick maximum
  • 4 Tbs honey
  • 4 canned pineapple slices

  • 4 tsp butter
  • 2 tsp curry powder
  • salt and pepper to taste
Methods/steps
  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cut 4 rectangles from kitchen foil. Place one chop on top of each one.
  3. Season each side of the chops with salt, pepper and a little curry powder. Brush with honey.
  4. Place one slice of pineapple on top of each one. Cover with foil and close tightly to avoid loss of liquid and keep the meat moist when cooking.
  5. Cook on the middle rack for 25 minutes. Let them stand for 5 minutes.li>
  6. Place the parcels on the plates and serve still closed. Careful when opening, there will be hot steam.
