Description

A healthy dessert or snack, including vitamins from fresh fruit and extra calcium from the yogurt and ice cream.

4 apples, best Granny Smith
2 cups raspberries (1 small container)
4 scoops vanilla ice cream
4 tbs raspberry syrup
4 tbs sugar
8 tbs non fat yogurt
1/2 lemon, juiced
Methods/steps
1 Wash the raspberries. Peel, core and dice the apples.
2 Blend the apples with the sugar, yogurt and lemon juice until smooth.
3 In a tall glass, put first a scoop of vanilla ice cream in each one, then ¼ cup of fresh raspberries and pour over 1 tbsp of the raspberry syrup. Prepare other three this way.
4 Distribute the apple smoothie between the four glasses. Serve and enjoy.
