Summer Food Pleasures

Recipes thought for the whole family –there is even something for those with the sweetest tooth- easy to prepare and, from the classic to the innovative, all finger-licking good. We thought about making community and organized a BBQ. We take advantage of the bounty of summer fruit in the peach bonanza and cooling summer recipes. On the healthy eating side, we explored the relationship between coffee and health, and the reasons to choose organic coffee.

On our habitual sections, we invite you to meet the winner of the Best Warm Salad competition, Kyla, from Texas, at the stove and try her chicken nacho salad recipe. Find ways to repair a sauce gone wrong, a question posted into Food Naturally Line.

Seasonal Eating
Peaches, Sun Kissed Velvet

Peaches are the most versatile of the summer fruits, easy to use them in sweet or savory dishes as Anne Ehmer will show in her recipes.

Cooling Summer Fruits

Who wants to heat the oven during the scorching summer? Cooling summer fruits make the best desserts for Erin M. Phelan. Anyone can try their own variations. It will not be for lack of variety in summer fruits.

World Food and Wine
Campfire Chef

Memorial Day weekend and Labor Day weekend are the the biggest camping weekends in the North American summer, so we are going to celebrate in camping style becoming campfire chefs.

Your Questions and Suggestions
A Sauce Too Spicy

My spaghetti sauce turned out way too hot and spicy tasting... is there anything I can do to reduce the spiciness in it?
